The silver medal, designed by Churya Sato, weighs 18.5 of 925/1000 fine silver or .5502 ounces of pure silver. The copper medal, designed by Shigeo Fukuda, who also designed the obverse of the medals, weighs 15.7 of pure copper. The Medals are held in a plastic case and comes with the original cardboard box.
